Introduction to Break the Cycle:

Break the Cycle is a service for Children and Young People (CYP) aged between 13-19 years old and has been running since 2017. The aim of the project is to promote and educate CYP on healthy relationships.

Break the Cycle provides a Safe Lives accredited CYP Domestic Violence Advisor (CYPDVA) service for those experiencing abusive relationships. Our service also offers 1:1 support for CYP who are in recovery from abusive relationships.

What is the eligibility criteria for Break the Cycle:

  • The CYP have been affected by Domestic Abuse.
  • The CYP resides in Southend-on-Sea.
  • The CYP are between 13-19 years old.

How to complete this referral:

By completing this referral form, you’re helping us to contact the client as safely and quickly as possible.  Please include as much information as possible – this saves the client from being asked the same questions twice and helps us to understand more about their particular needs and circumstances.
