Domestic abuse is more prevalent than you may think. Yet, it’s still something that’s not really talked about. One in four women are likely to experience some level of domestic abuse in their lifetime. But we also know that men, young people and children the elderly, members of the LGBTQIA+ community, those with disabilities and those from ethnic minorities can and do experience abuse.
At Safe Steps, we want to raise the awareness of what domestic abuse is and how someone affected by it can receive help and support to remain safe.
